Collaborations

Over the last years, much of my work took shape through working alongside others. This page lists people, institutions, and organizations, with the projects developed together.

Paskamer is a collaborative exhibition design practice that I run together with Alex Foradori, Jonas Hejduk, and Pauline Rip. It grew out of friendship and a shared interest in experimenting with scenographic and performative exhibition formats. We draw on humour, pop culture, and storytelling, and work across design (spatial/graphic), curation, production, and hosting.

Sofia Topi is a writer, film critic, and educational coordinator, and a close friend with whom I have been collaborating since 2021 through our shared project Scylla. Scylla is a performance-based collective and fictional character that we created and embody together. We use contract writing to reappropriate bureaucratic procedures, turning administrative language into material for performance. Through works such as Passport Ceremonies, we examine how identity is performed, assessed, and standardised through paperwork.

Alex Foradori is a graphic designer, long-term collaborator, and friend. We work together on editorial design and visual identities within the cultural sector, and have also collaborated on motion design for projects such as I lick I click I bite I spit and Techno Apple Superstar. Alex is also part of Paskamer, our shared studio practice.

Martina Muzi is a curator and educator based between Italy and the Netherlands, whom I met during my studies at Design Academy Eindhoven. Between 2022 and 2024, I worked closely with her as an assistant and collaborator on Brightcityscapes, a long-term research platform developed during Timișoara Capital of Culture 2023 that connects industry with contemporary design. Within this framework, we collaborated on several projects, including the exhibitions Design Is Not a Dashboard and Mirroring the Ecosystem, as well as a student-led research project. We also worked together on the Design Academy Eindhoven graduation show in 2024.

FABER is an independent cultural centre in Timișoara, founded by entrepreneurs working across architecture and IT. In 2023, I worked with FABER and Martina Muzi on Bright Cityscape, developed in partnership with the Politehnica University of Timișoara. In 2024, I also co-led a two-week collective workshop at FABER with students from various fields, together with designer and technologist Domitille Debret and artist Connor Cook.

Design Academy Eindhoven is the university where I completed my Master’s degree in 2021. Since graduating, I have collaborated with the academy on several projects. In 2022, I conducted archival image research for the school’s Intergenerational Graduation Show, shown during Milan Design Week, selecting works from the graduation archive and recontextualising them as large-format prints within the exhibition. In 2024, I worked as AV producer for the Graduation Show, and curator, coordinating and supporting all media-based projects.

Coded Club is a design agency specialising in serious games. In 2024, I received a Talentbuilding grant from the Stimuleringsfonds to work with Coded Games on research into how serious games can be used to address social issues in education. Together, we developed a game focused on media literacy for students aged 6–12.

Malhoun is an artist-run gallery space in Gueliz, Marrakesh, hosting studios for young artists and an outdoor cinema. In 2022, I collaborated with Malhoun together with Sofia Topi, Alex Foradori, and Ned Kaar on the graphic design for the African Fair. Following this collaboration, we received a grant from the Dutch Embassy in Morocco to support Malhoun in further shaping its visual identity and developing Malhoun Atlas Plan, an ongoing project conceived as a platform and archive exploring informal economies, art, and craft practices in Marrakesh, in close relation to the local community.

Erik Campanini is a painter, sound designer, and friend whom I met in Eindhoven in 2019. Since then, we have been recurrent collaborators, working together on the sound design for all my self-directed projects. Alongside this, we developed a semester-long syllabus for the BA programme at Design Academy Eindhoven titled Lulu the Tool, a course that uses the narrative structures of protagonist and antagonist to guide students in developing (serious) board games.

Cecilia Casabona is an independent curator based between Paris and Rotterdam, and a friend with whom I curated the exhibition How to Enter from the Exit in 2025. Working with the exhibition infrastructure of Onomatopee, we used the space as a rehearsal ground for commoning practices and collective curatorial work. → This collaboration continued beyond the exhibition context through editorial and publishing projects.

Onomatopee Projects is a publishing house, exhibition venue, and RISO workshop based in Eindhoven. Together with Alex Foradori, I was commissioned by Onomatopee to work on a series of publications around Future Commons, in collaboration with curator Cecilia Casabona. Matúš Solčány is a creative coder with whom I collaborated on I lick I click I bite I spit. He translated the project’s logic and structure into code, and later we developed ilicibis.github.io, a media player that reshuffles the video material, translating the performance into an online tool.

Ned Kaar, Elín Margot, and Fabio Salvadori are designers and friends who were invited by Paskamer for a residency focused on The Gift. Working closely together, we followed their practices and supported the development of their projects and final presentations. The residency used the gift as a framework to think through shared authorship, care, and alternative economies. Throughout the process, roles shifted between curators, interns, builders, organisers, and collaborators, depending on what the work required.

Gabriele Colia is a graphic designer based in Italy and a friend with whom I have collaborated on several graphic design projects, including In Absence Of and Spazio Sonoro / Spazio Visivo. These collaborations were formative for my graphic design practice.

Enrico Malatesta is a percussionist working across experimental music, performance, and pedagogy. After graduating from the Visual Arts Academy in Bologna, I collaborated with him on his artist book Lily Star. I designed the book, which brings together field notes and textual fragments from the author’s work as a fireworks seller, expanded through online research.
